If you are considering some New Year renovations then it is the perfect time to consider installing appliances and fixtures that allow you to reduce the amount of water you use.

If you want to install a grey water system, it’s a good idea to factor this in during the planning stages. For example, it can be difficult to retrofit a grey water system that recycles water from the shower, bath and hand basins.

In your home, the appliances and fixtures that use most water will usually be the washing machine, dishwasher, shower and toilet.

Water-efficient appliances and fixtures can save you a lot of water and money in the long term. You can also make a big difference to Australia’s overall use of clean tap water.
